Track Name: I. Passing Days
Passing Days I

Easy as Sunday morning,
the sky is crying grey on traffic from the interstate.
I sit and I stare from the same old blue rocking chair
where I’ve passed so many days before.
Track Name: II. Spinning Round
Spinning Round

Spinning round, silk and gown, she moves with me.
Blades, jaded, unwillingly bend beneath our feet.
The world turns and blurs into the sky as all the trees
become walls that form a quiet place for us to be at peace.

Resting now, without a sound, she looks towards me.
Mirrors shining blue and green, connected beams,
appear to me, a brilliant scene
Where all the worlds worries were just shadows from the trees
that fled before the dancing light.
Love, can you feel the release?

Maybe it’s all just a dream,
or something in between
what’s real to me
and the places I’ve known in my sleep
Track Name: III. Water Dance
Water Dance

Light bursts from the center after the sand filled mouth sputters slanted syllables, speaking in shapes and sounds.
Only rivers flow as I.

Cradled in her shifting arms, I’m drifting down.
Wait a moment, what’d they say?
I can’t remember now.
Only rivers flow as I and ocean’s waves aren’t far behind.

In dark waters I float through shadows grown of our own design.
Crashing waves upon my face, ripple, swell, dilate, and then subside.

Light burst from the center after the sand filled mouth sputters slanted syllables, speaking in shapes of sounds.
Only rivers flow as I
and ocean waves are far behind
Track Name: IV. Moon & Stag
Moon & Stag

I feel your smiling face in all the sounds that I make to keep me sane.
Still I choose to line the walls with all the glasses I use to drift your voice away.

While snow falls at my doorstep,
got the news that an old hearts beating too fast.
Makes you think about the time that may not last.
Still I waste my days with moon and stag.

I used to spend my days thinking about the things I’ll never have.
Don’t get me wrong, I still do, I just try to realize what I have left from you.

While snow falls at my doorstep,
got to thinkin that this young heart’s burning in the past.
Makes you think about the time that’s still to pass,
still I wast my days with moon and stag.
Track Name: V. All The Things That You Need
Well you see, what you see, it’s not me.
I’ve been so tired, that I can hardly sleep.
When everything you touch seems to wanna break apart with ease,
Man, at some point you question all the things that you need.

Hey you, Ms. All Smiles down the street
I’ve been feelin’ low, can’t you help me to my feet?
‘cause everything I know seems to slip out from underneath of me.
Man, at some point you question all the things that you need.

Well everyone I know seems to bleed,
all of these apologies keep runnin’ outa me.
I used to be the one to say, “C’mon girl, lets get you back up on your feet.”
Man, at some point you question all the things that you need
Track Name: VI. Pigeon Coops & Lofty Estates
Don’t you hear them in the streets?
Do you think they’ll come for me?
With flames in hand, and bottles on their breath,
the devil’s laughin at every step
I take my lovers hand,
and she tells me that all things turn to sand
in time I find my mind wandering here,

where walls start to bloom and grow
it’s here we learn to let go
of the all the things we may have assumed
of all the time spent in lofty estates
or pigeon coops, a room and flat rate
may bring sleep, but there’s no resting here
when you know your home’s in the ground.

The candle burns from the trumpets mouth.
A ringing bell sings a song of time
to the solidifying lake below it’s lips.
Drip by drip the people of the sky
claw the air to find their home in the ground.

Will you pick my sons eyes up?
They’ve strayed towards darkness
and lost their glow
(we’ve made our home
in the ground)

Tell me, have you seen the sea?
Could you please help me to be
more like the tide, rolling in and out
always spitting in the watchman’s face
without a sense of time I tell my lover
it will all be just fine, till then
Oh, hold me dear. We’ll flow into each other until we find

where walls start to bloom and grow
it’s here we learn to let go
of the all the things we may have assumed
of all the time spent in lofty estates
or pigeon coops, a room and flat rate
may mean sleep, but there’s no resting here.
Track Name: Distance
Don't be alarmed
I've just dispersed myself to places you can't see.
These places are for me alone
and I promise that I'll find my way back home.
I just need some time to clear my head,
to spend it in your bed would be useless.
Let us not forget why we came here again.
Why do I always find myself wandering here again,
when distance seems so familiar again.
Why do I always find myself wandering night by night
I fly into the same old darkened sky
painted with blues that then reflect off the pools in my eyes.

(I find myself wandering again, off into the atmosphere; and while forms dissipate and colors blend, the fractured images always return to your presence. Felt, not seen, your familiarity rests on my lips, a taste of the solid earth below. I’m not quite sure that I want to leave aurora’s contorted dance above you. I’ve found peace in the thermosphere, and I think for the moment I’ll bide my time, until the flames below have all burned down. I’ll entertain the notion of diving once again into the space between, though smoke and ash mask all the beauty I’ve found in my time spent drifting.)
